(Dee's note: My great-grandmother, Rose Triste Calabrese, was not born in Texas. She was born in Agua Nueva, Chihuahua, Mexico. She made a point of saying that she was born in "Old Mexico". Her mother was born in Mexico, not Spain. Rose was of Spanish-Mexican descent and the census, although incorrect, may give a clue that it was her mother's side of the family who were from Spain before coming to Mexico.)
