In the name of God Amen.  I Johannes Luke of Jericho in Rensselaerwyck in the County of Albany being advanced in years but of sound mind & memory thanks be to God for the same, do make this my last will and testament.  Inform following, first I Commit my soul almighty God that gave it, hoping for Pardon and Redemption for all of my sins.  In and through the merits of Jesus Christ my blessed Redeemer & my body I Commit to the earth there to be decently Buried at the discretion of my Executors herein after named.  Item, I give devise & bequeath unto my well beloved wife Geesie this my farm & dwelling house where I now live So is conveyed to me by lease forever  by  Stephen Van Rensselaer late now deceased Together  with all and singular my household Goods and Chattels my gold and silver Plate, my books of accounts & all sums of  money therein appearing due, as also, all my Bonds Bills and notes of Payment all which I give to said well beloved wife Geesie for Ever.

        Lastly, I do nominate, constitute and appoint my well beloved friends W. Barent M. Ten Eyck & Doct. Henry Van Dyke both of the city of Albany Executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former & other wills Legacies bequests and Executors, by me in any wise before named, willed, & Bequeathed, Ratifying & Conforming.  This and no other, to be my last will and testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto let my hand & seal the 13th April 1778.
