PEARLIE NICHOLS,
75, died at 3:10 a.m. Feb. 22, 2006, at her
residence.
She was born Jan. 29, 1931, in Pyramid, Ky., to Pete and
Emaline Hicks Moore, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 22, 1951, she married
Eugene Nichols, who died July 20, 1975.
Mrs. Nichols was a homemaker. She was a member of Quickstep
Pentecostal Church of God, Alger.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy D. Nichols of Lima and Gary
R. Nichols of Alger; three daughters, Brenda C. (Robert) Seech of Lima, Cheryl
L.
Nichols of Alger and Marcia K. (Doug) Wilcox of Wapakoneta; four brothers,
Columbus (Betty) Moore of Harrod, Clovis (Shirley) Moore of Kenton, Jerry
(Nancy) Moore of Dola and Denver (Rhonda) Moore of Harrod; two sisters, Lucy
(Dennis) Stalnaker of Cridersville and Osie Allen of Baltimore, Ohio; and
eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Dylan Thomas
Morrisey; four brothers, Andy, Robert Lee, Emery and Glenn Moore; and two
sisters, Josie Day and Fannie Shepherd.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Quickstep
Pentecostal Church of God, Alger. Pastor Robert Dye and the Rev. Charles
Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at
Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, and one hour prior to services Friday at the
church.
