Reed Knuckles

Beverly - Reed Knuckles, 83, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Williamsburg Nursing Home in Williamsburg, Ky.

He was born in Field, Ky., on May 14, 1922, a son of the late Robert and Lillie Sizemore Knuckles. He had worked at Ritter Sawmill for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Loriene Knuckles; brothers, Albert, George Matt, Colson and Ed Knuckles.

Survivors include his son, Everett Knuckles and his wife, Dawn; daughter Imogene Jarnagan; grandchildren, Melissa Maynard, Christopher Knuckles, Pamela Lawson and Ronald Lawson; four great-grandchildren; step-children, Irving Gipson, Paul Caleb Gipson and Kathy Gipson; seven step-grandchildren; the mother of his children, Tressie Gibson; a brother, Robert Knuckles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Baker presiding. Music will be by Lester and Louise Saylor.

Burial will be in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
