Families of Samuel Spears 1761 - 2001
My Aunt Helen Wiggin Spears, recently wrote and had a book (almost 200 pages) published entitled "FAMILIES of SAMUEL SPEARS 1761-2001" It was published by Joy Publishing Co. and contains some wonderful stories of how nine generations of Samuel Spears' descendants migrated across America. Many stated that only their Christian faith helped them through the hardships, sorrows, and tragedies, that fell upon them in their journies. They also expressed their gratitude for the many blessings and joys experienced.
Helen traveled to many states accumulating information. The book contains many photos of this family from Joseph Thomas and Sarah Adina (Lyell) Spears through current generations, coming from and settling in NC, TN, KY, ND, LA, MO, and of course, some ended up here in Washington state, just to name a few locations.
