The Marsh Family Page

During my research for the Ancestors of Charles Larry Marsh I found another Marsh family. No connections have been made between the two families, however, there are a lot of similarities between the two.

Both Marsh families lived in the Evanston, Unita, Wyoming area. They both seemed to have moved into the Salt Lake area about the same time. There are even similar names, but to this day I have not made a connection between the two families.

In 1997 I did talk with a member of the other Marsh family and he denied any relationship.

I have reached a dead end with the Marsh line. It goes back 6 generations to Raleigh Marsh. Raleigh was born about 1785. He married Elizabeth Feagens in about 1805 ,Amherst, Virginia. Nothing more is known about Raleigh.

The last bit of information I received from posting a query about Raleigh Marsh was a tidbit out of a book about a grandson of his that I did not know exist.
