Research per Karen Heber in email dated 6/9/2010
When this cemetery was recorded the first time, the cemetery was on the property of the Bargers, so they called it Barger Cemetery. Thus it has been called that for about 40 years. This was verified using land records. At the time of the recording it was owned by the Bargers, however, the land originally belonged to the Comer Family. Thus it was the family land and cemetery of the Comers. That is why only Comers are buried here. (not Bargers) Right now the cemetery is not owned by either family. So should the cemetery have the new owners name since we are reading it 40 years later? This cemetery rightfully should be called Comer Cemetery
