Mt Pleasant Cemetery

Location Johnson Township north of St Paris in section 20 of Johnson Twp at the junction of Mt Pleasant Cemetery Road and Purk Road.

Denise Kay Moore also transcribed these stones and notes: "Over 20 years ago the tombstones were removed so the cemetery could be mowed. At one time these stones were piled along the fence, however today they could not be found. Some of the original stones escaped the degradation as they had long ago fallen and were buried in the ground. The cemetery retains one standing stone to date and others were found buried" She includes records of the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church in her book, which you may purchase from her.
