My Ancestry Tree
My Find a Grave
Welcome to Chris's Genealogy Workshop, doing family genealogy since 1975. My site is set-up mainly as an aid to assist other family menbers research our family history and enable other family members to communicate with me and each other. We must always remember that as we begin our adventure into the study of our ancestral past our mission is the search for the truth while separating folklore from facts. I have personally encountered many cases where the’ he said she said’ information was later proven inaccurate because discovered documented paperwork proved the statement or story as inaccurate or completely untrue.

I developed an interest in genealogy back when I was in my late teens around 1975. During a vacation trip to Michigan my Aunt Theresa showed me a photo album she had started putting together. Some of the photos were of my Great Grandmother who was living on an Indian reversion. These visits with my Aunt Theresa sparked an interest in me to research and discover my ancestral history. My Aunt Theresa passed away in 1996 and I vowed to continue our family genealogical quest that she had bestowed within me.
I developed an interest in genealogy back when I was in my late teens around 1975 during a summer vacation trip to Michigan to visit my Aunt Theresa or as we called her, Aunt Tessie. My Aunt Tessie showed me a photo album she had started putting together containing many old family photos and some brief information about each person. I found it fascinating to learn about and physically see photos of people from years ago reaffirming the old phrase, gone but not forgotten. These visits with my Aunt Tessie sparked an interest in me to research and discover more about my ancestral history and eventually connect to dozens of other family members. My Aunt Tessie passed away in 1996 and I vowed to continue our family genealogical quest that she had inspired within me.
