Benedict Walperswiller immigrated to the United States in 1853 from his native land of Switzerland and settled in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri. As far as I can tell, he came alone.
This subsection of my site is dedicated to the research I've done on this particular branch of the family.
Walperswiller: I haven't been able to locate any definition for this name. It appears to be quite rare.
