Marguerite Sullivan

William Clark Bryan

William Clark and Marguerite were found on the 1900 census in Rockland Township, Ontonagon, MI. In 1910 they were in Ashland, WI. By 1920, they were living in Minneapolis, MN. On the 1920 census, it states that Arnold was born in Minnesota. This is most likely a mistake, as they were in Ashland, WI in 1910 and in Minneapolis by 1920 (it is not uncommon to find errors on census records). William Clark lived to a ripe old age of nearly 90 years and died in 1954, Mpls. He is buried alongside Marguerite at Crystal Lake Cemtery in Mpls. Marguerite died in 1955,

Eleanor, nickname Ella, was born in Wisconsin in 1870. Her death record says she was born in Clayton, NY, but all census records indicate her birth place was Wisconsin. Eleanor grew up and married Albert Negley and resided in New Jersey. She was a practical nurse by vocation and Albert was a stock broker, and most likely worked out of New York. They did not have children. Eleanor and Albert spent the last 10 years of their life separated; or at least lived at different addresses in Plainfield, NJ. She died in 1946 and is buried in New Jersey. Informant on her death record was Mrs. William Lovejoy (daughter to Genevieve Bryan Funck, Ella's sister).

Genevieve, nickname Jenny, was born in 1872 Appleton, WI. It is assumed that she was also a nurse and married a doctor by the name of George Funck. They resided in Cook County, Illinois for many years and had one known child, Dorothy, who was born in 1908 Colorado. Genevieve and George retired to Pinellas, FL sometime in the 1940's and Genevieve died there in 1962. Again, the informant on the death record was Dorothy Lovejoy, her daughter.
