FOURTH GENERATION
GEORGE WILLIAM BRYAN AND GLORIA MAE OLIVER

George was the second child of George Jerome Bryan and Celeste Jane Gilbert. He was born on March 3, 1927 in Minneapolis. When he was 16, he met a lovely young woman by the name of Gloria Mae Oliver and at age 17 they were married in Memphis, Tennesee, where George was stationed in the Navy. After the wedding, Gloria returned home to Minneapolis and to parents who didn't know she was going to Memphis to be married! When George's time was finished in the service, he returned to Minneapolis and they settled down in a little house near Penn and Lowry Avenue North. They had three children, George Thomas, born 1947, Kathryn Celeste, born 1948 and Stuart Wayne, born 1950. In the early 1950's George and Gloria moved their family to Brooklyn Center, MN, where they remained until 1967. George had several occupations in his lifetime -- beginning as a Sheet Metal worker, car salesman, salesman for a large equipment company, and finally owner of Bryan Equipment in Merrifield, MN. George and Gloria bought a lake home on Gull Lake in Nisswa, MN in 1964 and retired there in 1968. Bryan Equipment was sold so that they could enjoy their "golden years" together. George passed away in September of 1990 and Gloria remains active and busy, residing in Nisswa, MN. Their children are spread around the country, George Thomas "Tom" lives in Topeka, Kansas; Kathryn in Champlin, MN and Stuart in Buffalo, MN.

Tom was married to Patti Tighe in 1973 in California. They were divorced and had no children from that marriage. Tom has a daughter Megan Bryan, age 19, who resides in Buffalo. MN.

Kathy was married to Terry Berg in 1972. They were divorced and have 3 children from that marriage Justin Bryan, age 28, Brittany Ellen Schiffler, age 26 and Dylan James, age 19.

Stuart married Holly Fagerhaugh (30 years married! - Yeah Stu and Holly) and they have the following children: Angela Kathryn and Arica Ann (twins), age 25, Cole, age 22.
