Obituary of Eleanor Bryan-Negley
(Plainfield, New Jersey Newspaper)
Mrs. Eleanor M. Bryan Negley, 78, of 509 Franklin Place, died in Muhlenberg Hospital last evening (December 23, 1946) after a week's illness. Born in Clayton, NY, Mrs. Negley had resided here about five years. She was a practical nurse. She is survived by a brother, William Bryan of Wisconsin; and a sister Mrs. G.N. Funck of Venus, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be Hillside Cemetery. The Rev. Horace L. Fenton Jr., of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate.



Obituary of Celeste J. Gilbert-Bryan
Mrs. George Bryan died unexpectedly
(Watertown, MN. Newspaper)
Funeral services for Mrs. George Bryan, 60, Watertown who died unexpectedly Sunday morning at the local hospital were held Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church. The Rev. Ivan Carlson officiating. Burial was in the Wateertown Public Cemetery. Mrs. Bryan had been taken to the Watertown Hospital Friday, where she had undergone surgery for a ruptured appendix Saturday. She appeared to be recovering satisfactorily and had been in improved condition even as late as 8:00 a.m. Dunday. Shortly thereafter, however, her condition worsened and death came about 10:00 that morning. The Watertown woman is survived by her husband, two daughters and four sons. Complete obituary will be published next week.

In Reno, August 29, 1969, Gladys F. Bothun, wife of the late Hardy Bothun of Sacramento, mother of Mrs. Rebecca Jane Hilderbrand of San Luis Opispo; foster mother of Janet G. Brown of Sacramento, sister of Mrs. Mamie Frater of Santa Cruz, Mrs. Jennie Thomas of Clio, Plumas County; grandmother of Allen Hilderbrand of San Luis Obispo, Mrs. Mary B. Griggs of San Luis Obispo, and Amy L. Hilderbrand also of San Luis Obispo; great-grandmother of Randy Griggs of San Luis Opisbo. A native of Wisconsin, age 66 years. Friends are welcome at the Land Park Chapel, 4041 Freeport Boulevard, and respectively invited to attend the funeral Friday at 11:00 a.m., Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd at Arden Way and Morse. Memorials may be sent to Shrine Hospital for Crippled Children, San Francisco or Pleasant Ridge or Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.
