Date Built The site on Fairoak farm was acquired in 1789 and a meeting house was built circa 1792 and the chapel was rebuilt in 1818 and finally in 1856 in a plain classical style. It has the unusual feature of a large outdoor baptistry in the grave yard
History .The congregation first met in the house of Henry Rees of Tai-mawr around 1782 and the church was formed as the result of the preaching of the ministers from Bethesda Bassaleg around 1790. In 2003 the chapel was sold for conversion into a house and the congregation moved to new premises
Registers and other records In existance until 1990 but since then appear to have been lost.
