Thomas/1 Pitman, Sr. was Freeman at Marblehead, 16 May 1683 (NEHGR). His origins are unknown. He was born about 1614 - 17 (deposition, Marblehead vital records, see NOTE, below), and d. 1694, C.R.1, Marblehead. His wife was Jane/Jone, surname unknown.

  4. Anna, m. Robert Tatton, 3 July 1685, Marblehead
  5. Mary, m. John Salter, 3 Mar. 1684, Marblehead
  6. Was there a daughter Jone? A Jone Pitman m. Robert Larkin, 19 Oct. 1682, Marblehead. Some have thought "Robert Larkin" was actually "Robert Laskey", but the births of the children of Robert Laskey, wife unknown, were much later in the Marblehead vital records.
