Prior to December 1999, the website had a completely different layout. With the new layout, it will be easier to separate hits versus visits. A visit to the site constitutes a brand new visitor (identifiable by the user's IP address), whereas a hit
simply means that the site has been accessed. In a single visit, the site can be accessed hundreds of times, thereby making metrics more difficult to analyse. As we approach 2000, the site will probably surpass 2300 visits, with more than 270 unique
visitors since July. As more content is added, these numbers will increase.
