Description:
Alcatraz - in the Bay of San Francisco, is only a stone's throw away from civilization. It is said that the proximity to the city coupled with the history of this prison facility made for a double punishment for its inmates. The island prison presented a constant reminder of consequence to city's criminal element. The cemetery is no longer in use.
