Description:
The Curragh was an important British Army installation in Ireland for more than a century and it is likely that many Cullinans and Cullinanes who joined the British Army would have passed through the Curragh for training and orders. Pictured above
is the Water Tower at the Curragh Camp, a red-brick building dating back to the latter part of the 1800s. The camp is extensive and comprises barracks, modern officers' residences, a golf course, administrative buildings, a church and prison.
