COLLONAN

The surname Collonan can be found in numerous California records dating prior to 1920. In the 1920 federal census for the State of California, there are several Collonans listed in the city of San Francisco.

This family is believed to have originated in Clonmel, County Tipperary and spelled their surname Cullinane; this family had settled in Massachusetts originally, and migrated west in the early 1870s.
