Description:
Mary Grace (née Cullinan) Barrett (1910-1987), pictured here with a conductor on a San Francisco street car, was born in Saint John, New Brunswick. Her parents, James William Cullinan (1869-1933) and Anne Elizabeth McCarthy (1873-1930) moved from Saint John in the early 1920s, along with Louis Cullinan (1903-1980) and Margaret Ann (née Cullinan) Hannan (1907-1983). Mary's three older brothers, James Francis Cullinan (1897-1959), Lawrence Henry Cullinan (1899-1986) and Joseph Vincent Cullinan (1901-1928) remained in Canada.
