James Francis (Frank) Cullinan is pictured here on Douglas Avenue in Saint John in 1924. The boy on the left is Louis Vincent Cullinan and on the right is Mary Elizabeth (Betty) (née
Cullinan) Smith. It is interesting to see the horse and buggy on Douglas Avenue, a busy street even in those days.
On the reverse of this picture, in the hand of Annie Blanche (née Walsh) Cullinan, the wife of Frank Cullinan, is the inscription, "[...] this is Betty's new coat, fur trimmed with opossum. Not a good picture but I will send it anyway..."
Annie Cullinan was writing to Frank's parents, James and Anne Cullinan, who moved to San Francisco, California about a year and a half before.
