Biographical Information Below is a picture of John Francis A. Cullinan (1848-1889). I borrowed this and other photographs from Mrs. Peggy (née Cullinan) Curtis of Watertown, New York. On the reverse side of the photograph
in handwriting,
"These were taken by Mort's back porch at 340 Birr St., Rochester. I have written a few names underneath but can not explain who they all are. In the center between Kitty and myself--are Mayme and Billy; Frank's wife, Dorothy. Her
husband is holding Henry and the dog. Irene sits beside him. The lady and gentleman in the upper row are Mr. And Mrs. McInerney, cousins from Buffalo. The boys you can pick out from the other picture."
I suspect that this was one of the photographs sent to Mrs. Peggy (née Cullinan) Curtis by her first cousin, Mary Elizabeth (née Cullinan) Kingston (1918-1988). It is difficult to date the picture, however, if the boy in the front of
the picture were about three years old, the photograph may have been taken around 1908. The boy is Henry Mortimer Cullinan (1905-1979).
