Towerman
Charles M. Cullinane, 60 years old, towerman at the Oak Island junction of the Central Railroad of New
Jersey, died early today at his home, 114 Reid Street, after an illness of several months.
Mr. Cullinane was
employed by the Central Railroad since he was 15 years of age. Born here, he was the son of the late Charles M.
Cullinan and Bridget Cullinane. He was a communicant of St. Michael's Church and a member of the Order of Railroad
Telegraphers and the C.R.R. Veteran Employees' Association. He formerly was a communicant of the Church of the
Sacred Heart.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Madeline Penn Cullinane; a daughter, Mrs. John R. Farrell, of this
city; two brothers, Joseph of Iselia, and James J. Cullinane, of Elizabeth; a sister, Mrs. James Nolan of Newark,
and two grandsons.
The funeral will be held from the James J. Higgins and Son Mortuary, 414 Westminster
avenue.
