The Late John F. Cullinan, Solicitor - Funeral

The funeral of the late Mr. John F. Cullinan, Solicitor, Ennis, took place on Friday. The remains arrived in Ennis on Thursday by the afternoon train from Dublin and lay overnight in the Cathedral where there was a solemn Requiem Mass on Friday morning.

Most Rev. Dr. Fogarty, Lord Bishop, presided at the Throne, and the celebrant was Rev. D. O'Dea, Administrator; deacon Rev. P.J. Hogan, C.C., and sub-deacon Rev. William Grace C.C. The Master of Ceremonies was Rev. T. Molloy, St. Flannan's College.

In the choir were Very Rev. Father Chrysostom, Guardian OFM, Rev. Fr. Fidelius, OPM, Rev. Fr. Gaynor, Diocesan Inspector.

Those clergymen were also present at the funeral with the Very Rev. Canon Burke.

Rev. T.H. Abrahall, Rector and Rev. R. Scott, Ennis, were also present.

The chief mourners were--Mr. Michael Cullinan O'Halloran, Solicitor; Mr. Stephen O'Halloran, Manager, National Bank, Mullingar, nephews; Mrs. Lilla J. Furney, niece; Mr. Lemuel Furney, nephew-in-law.

In the general attendence were--Major F.G. Cullinan, S.S., Bryan Cullinan, Woodstock; Ralph Cullinan, Ennis; Thomas Cullinan, Fountain... Thomas Cullinan, Millstreet; Marcus Cullinan...
