Enlisted at the age of 26 years; appointed on December 1, 1829. Height - 5’ 10". Native of County Clare. Catholic. Married on August 9, 1832 (wife from Co. Leitrim). Recommended by Sir Edward O’Brien. Listed as a labourer before joining the Constabulary. He served in Counties Roscommon and Leitrim and was then transferred to Roscommon on February 1, 1833; appointed Constable on May 1, 1848. Service: 26 years, 1 month. Pension £36.
Callinan, Pat (#1103) Enlisted at the age of 20 years; appointed on November 1, 1831. Height - 5’ 8 1/2". Native of County Galway. Catholic. Married on August 9, 1832 (wife from Co. Leitrim). Recommended by Captain French, Justice of the Peace. He served in Counties Kilkenny and Wexford and was then transferred to Tipperary South on May 1, 1850; appointed Constable May 11, 1842. Service: 21 years, 9 months. Pension £26.

He was appointed Constable R2S on February 1, 1853, then promoted to Constable P1S on October 1, 1853. Service: 24 years, 7 months. "Gratuity paid to family of deceased, £30.10.10. Died of fever. Gratuity paid to Mary, widow of the late Sub Constable."
