Goleen, Clonakilty & Mizen Head - 1857, 1878
Daniel Coakley Cullinan (1835-1923) was born in County Cork, Ireland and settled near Geneseo, New York. Daniel's first cousin, Denis Cullinane (1837-1916) had seven children, most of whom emigrated to New Zealand in the late 1870s. Many of the family members remained in County Cork and can still be found near Goleen. Plate LIII.

Mallow - pre-1866
David Cullinan(e) (c1840-1891) was naturalized in 1866. He lived in Manhattan NY from 1863-1891 and his children settled in New York City and in the Boston MA area. David was the son of William Cullinane and Ellen O'Brien, and little is known about him or his parents. Plate XLI.

County Cork - various dates
Charles M. Cullinane (c1887-1947) lived in Elizabeth NJ. He was one of three brothers who were all born in New Jersey. His parents, Charles M. and Bridget Cullinane may have emigrated during the famine years. Plate XLVIII.

Sister M. Irene Cullinane (1873-1950), O.S.B. was a Roman Catholic nun who lived in Elizabeth NJ. Her parents, Dominic Cullinane and Ellen Healy originated in County Cork. Dominic and Ellen Cullinane had two other daughters, Sister M. Gabriel Cullinane, O.S.B. and Katherine M. Cullinane as well as two sons, James J. Cullinan (c1875-1949) of Newark NJ and Jeremiah J. Cullinane (c1887-1951) of Elizabeth NJ. Plate XLIX.

Cashel Commons, Desertserges -1884
Timothy Cullinane (also Calnan) (1860-1900) sailed from County Cork aboard the S.S. Aleppo from Liverpool, which arrived in Boston on May 28, 1884. Four of his ten siblings also emigrated to the Boston area. Plate LIV.

County Cork - various dates
Three brothers--Daniel, Jack and Jeremiah Cullinane--all emigrated from County Cork and settled in Bayonne, New Jersey. Daniel Cullinane had nine children: Jeremiah (1898-1970), Leo (-1930), John (-1968), Daniel (-1967), Elizabeth (-1955), Dorothy (-1940), Richard (-1970), Mamie (-1969) and Martha Cullinane (-1965). Plate LXIII.

Cloyne - possibly 1856
Edward Cullinane was born c1822 in Cloyne, County Cork and died on March 25, 1892 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. He was married to Johanna Grogan (c1822-1907) and they had three children, Peter Cullinan (1846-1921), Julia Cullinan (1852-) and Johanna (Annie) Cullinan (1857-). All three of the children married, but little is known about their families. Plate XCIX.

Fermoy - mid- to late-1800s
Patrick Cullinan owned 1364 acres of land in Fermoy, County Cork.

Bantry - mid- to late-1800s
William Terence Cullinan owned 2783 acres of land in Bantry, County Cork.
