Aged 88 Years
"Thou shalt come to thy grave
in a full age, like as a shock of
corn cometh in, in his season"
Also of SARAH, His Wife
Died April 25th 1908
Aged 90 Years
 

   

         On visiting St. Peter's churchyard at the beginning of May 2006, I could see a huge clearance programme has 
         been taking place and that many headstones are now visible again, John & Sarah SCOTT's being one of them :)
         Their grave is an area that I couldn't get to before because of all the undergrowth, and judging by the marks
         on the headstone, it has been completely smothered in ivy for the last few decades or more - so no wonder I 
         couldn't find it on previous visits.
