Clearance of headstones at Baptist Church, Upwell

     August 2005 - I was in the Fens last week visiting my parents - and Thursday afternoon, I went to the 
          Baptist Chapel at Upwell with my father, as he had told me that the headstones had been bulldozed, and 
          that there were a lot of very upset people in the village as a result.
          It was a horrendous sight - not one of the old headstones is left standing; they are now just a heap 
          of rubble behind the chapel.

    ** August 2006 - This is what the Chapel looks like NOW  NO mention of the 185+ graves, including a  WW2 War Grave
