Message: Dearest Dais,
Thankyou very much indeed for the potato peeler, very good of you.
.........also for the notice on...... ....... poodle which is dangerous
but has not bitten anyone yet. I quite forgot to mention it in my last
letter. Thankyou for the magazine. Our village lamps are now being put
up. I shall expect a PC of Southgate for this one.
With fondest love your loving Kitt.
Written along the bottom of the postcard is - "Kitt's Homestead" - which
coincides with the "X" over the end cottage on the postcard.
So Kitt and her family were my Gt Grandparent's neighbours!

Message: Dearest Cis,
I hope you received P. alright. Tell mother I sent that Paper back and
have asked if to send the price of it upto her so ask her to send the
price to the office for me, as it takes such a long time from here.
We are having lovely weather and all are well. Will you put me a piece
of pumice stone in the parcel as I haven't got a piece and my fingers are
all brown eating walnuts. Love from all to all, love from your loving
