* At Oakes, N.D., on Monday, January 7th, occurred the marriage of John A. Melleher, of the firm of J. A. Melleher & Son, of Kulm, and Matilda Shortell of Napoleon, a sister of Mrs. Geo. Laney. The couple are well-known in Logan county, who wish them a happy married life.

* Friends and relatives of Miss Anna Uskoski, a sister of Axel Uskoski, and Erick Puronen, living southwest of town, have made up their minds that the young couple, who went to Aberdeen during the week, went there to be wedded.
