He married Mary Pease in Edgartown, Dukes, MA, 17 Dec 1774. Mary was born in Edgartown, Dukes, MA 4 Jun 1751. Mary died 24 Jan 1838 at 86 years of age.

He was christened in Tisbury, Dukes, MA, 3 Aug 1745. For birth place, also have Martha's Vineyard, MA
