PIONEER TRAVIS WOMAN IS DEAD

Mrs. Fidelia F. King, 92, one of Central Texas' oldest citizens who came to Texas in a covered wagon from Illinois as a child, died Thursday at 9: 45 p. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. M. Boutwell, 4508 Depew avenue.

Mrs. King, widow of the late John M. King, is survived by three daughters, Mrs. E. M. Boutwell, Misses Bessie and Emma King of Austin; three sons, John R. King of Austin, N. A. King of Sprinkle, A. C. King of Anderson Mill, 25 grandchildren, 27 great grand-children and one great great grandchild.

When still a small child, Mrs. King came to Texas in a covered wagon with her family. The family's horses died near Round Rock and the family settled on Brushy creek near Round Rock, later moving near Cedar Park on Cypress creek in Travis county.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a. m. from the Boutwell residence with Rev. Dennis Macune of the Hyde Park Methodist church officiating, assisted by Rev. E. G. Hocutt and Rev. B. W. Allen.

Pallbearers will be Steve Heffington, Frank M. DuBose, J. E. McClain, Frank Maxwell, Frank L. Conway, and F. B. Parsons. Interment will be in the Fiskville cemetery.

Mrs. Fidelia F. King, 92, pioneer resident of Austin and Travis county and widow of the late John M. King, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. M. Boutwell, 4508 Depew avenue, Thursday. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. E. M. Boutwell, Misses Bessie and Emma King of Austin; three sons, John R. King of Austin, N. A. King of Sprinkle and A. C. King of Anderson Mills, 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held from her residence Saturday at 10 a. m. with the Rev. Dennis Macune of the Hyde Park Methodist church officiating, assisted by the Rev. E. G. Hocutt and the Rev. B. W. Allen. Pallbearers will be Steve Heffington, Frank M. DuBose, J. E. McClain, Frank Maxwell, Frank L. Conway and F. B. Parsons. Burial will be in the Fiskville cemetery.
