Homepage for Carter

This website gives my father's side of our family genealogy. I am indebted to William Giles Harding Carter, who published a book in 1909 which traced the Carter family from their landing in America to my grandfather. I am still researching Sadie Wade from Lauderdale County, who was my grandmother. Later, I will add the Sander genealogy, from mother's side of my family, which was put into a book in the 1950's or 60's. I hope you enjoy and learn from my research.
