John C. Adolph
Funeral services for John C. Adolph, 69, will be held in Rodrick Memorial Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald G. Burt of the First Presbyterian Church officiating.
Mr. Adolph was a veteran of World War I. Military graveside services will be conducted by the local Veterans of Foreign Wars. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Elk City. Members of the local VFW will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends tonight at the Rodrick Memorial Chapel from 7 until 9.

Death of Former Resident
John C. Adolph, 69, passed away Thursday, March 17, at Mercy hospital in Independence. Mr. Adolph had farmed west of Elk City until 1944 when the family moved to Independence. He is survived by four sons, two daughters and two sisters. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Rodrick Memorial Chapel in Independence and interment was in Oak Hill cemetery at Elk City.
