Before I got bitten by the genealogy "bug", I had no idea where
my family roots came from or when or where they had arrived on
the shores of the North American continent. I have since learned
that many of these courageous immigrants were among the Pilgrim
settlers in Plymouth Colony, were braving the wilderness at the
frontier settlement of the 1st Germanna Colony in Virginia and
were one of the early families of Woodbridge, New Jersey. Future
generations ultimately ventured into the unknown territories of
the westward movement into Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska
and the Dakota Territory. Many laid their lives on the line in
the wars of the rebellion, The War of 1812, the Civil war
and others. I'd love to find some new cousins to share our
families history with, so please take a moment to look at the
surnames listed in the table of contents and get in touch with me
if we may have some related lines. Much of this information has been
derived from the sharing of wonderful people, so it is important that
you prove the validity of information to your own satisfaction.

Thanks for dropping by. Look forward to hearing from you.
