This is among 7 letters and one postcard found folded and tucked amid the pages of Eliza Burdick's bible.  They are not dated and it is not known in which order they were written. Though we cannot know if this was the original envelope in which it was actually sent, this letter was found folded in an envelope addressed to Cora Burdick, postmarked September 6, 1917.
