Stepping Stones

At low tide vehicles were able to drive across Benfleet Creak. Pedestrians used the stepping Stones that can clearly be seen in the bottom of the picture.

The stepping stones have been preserved and can be seen outside the old council offices Sydervelt Road, Canvey Island
