David Shively and Sarah Crissman
David Shively, son of George Shively and Mary Dickey, was born on 28 July 1843 in Portage Co., Ohio. When he was twelve years old he moved with his parents to Columbiana Co., Ohio. He enlisted on 25 August 1863 with the One Hundred and Fifteenth Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and served for three years. He married Sarah Crissman (b. 05 January 1851 Fairfield twp., Tuscarawas Co., Ohio; daughter of Frederick and Martha Reed Crissman) on 28 October 1869. After they married, they purchased and farmed 80 acres at Fairfield twp., Tuscarawas Co., Ohio. Children:
i. Laura Shively was born about 1871 in Ohio.
ii. Isaac Monroe Shively was born about 1873 in Ohio.
iii. Frank C. Shively was born about 1877 in Ohio.
