Bernadette L. Marosek
Bernadette Lafferty Marosek, 86, formerly of Elmira, N.Y., died March 13, 2002 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. Born in Utica, she was a 1932 graduate of St. Frances de Sales High School and formerly was employed as adult book buyer at Lambert Grant, Inc. Bookstore in Utica. She lived in Elmira for 48 years until 1995 where she was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and a member of the choir. Her husband, John F. Marosek, died in 1995. She is survived by one daughter, Maria M. Naylor, of Honolulu, HI; two sons, John J. of Albany and Bernard M. of Syracuse; one sister, Sister James Margaret Lafferty, SJC, St. Joseph's Provincial House, Latham, NY. Private Burial at Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira, N.Y. Contributions may be made to Notre Dame High School, 1400 Maple Avenue, Elmira, NY. Arrangements by Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse, N.Y.
