We know that there were two Johannes Scherrer that emigrated in 1730. One was the Uncle of Augustus, age 33, the other was Augustus' brother age 16. We have a record of Johannes, son of Frantz m. Maria Barbara in Lachen-Speyerdorf in 1739. The date of his marriage to Maria Catherine was 1737 that other researchers have found in PA. There is a possibility that Maria Catherine died, Johannes traveled back overseas to marry Barbara. The children of Johannes birthdates start in 1740 which would fit in with his marriage of Barbara. As usual, we have a mystery instead of answers.....

Andrew and Magdalene had no children. In his will probated in Frederick Co. MD in January 1826,(WB HS 3: 537) he bequeathed his ten-acre lot, Durbin's Mistake to his wife Magdalene, and after her lifetime to the widow and children of his brother George.

Ludwick and Susanna bought land in Frederick Co, MD selling it in 1807.
Ludwick was also know as Lewis, records in 1803 for the estate of his father-in-law referred to him as Lewis.
In November 1807, his parents sold him the farm consisting of 150 acres for 1000 pounds. In return, he agreed to care for his parents.
Ludwick was the executor of his father's will, rendering his final account 25 November, 1820 in Adams Co., PA. He returned to Frederick Co., MD and was in the 1830 and 1840 censuses. He died in Frederick Co, in 1851 at age 70 and is buried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Ludwick's son, Valentine's grandson...George was a Dr. of medicine in Dillsburg, PA.
