Miss Magdalene Mueller, 96, a former Town of Schleswig resident, died early this morning at the Heritage Nursing Home in Sheboygan. She was born May 3, 1874 in Kiel, daughter of the late John and Margaret Reichert Mueller. She attended the Kiel schools and the Silver Lake Convent in Manitowoc County where she studied music and needlecraft. She was an organist at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, for 18 years. Miss Mueller lived with her brother, Valentine on the homestead farm until 1955 when she moved to the Anna Reiss Home in Sheboygan. She moved to the Heritage home after the Reiss home was closed. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers Society of the parish. She is survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Ss. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. George Kiefer, pastor, as celebrant of the funeral Mass. Family rites will be held at 9 a.m. in the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday.
