Emil Manther was born June 20, 1870 in Germany. Emil resided in Kiel and worked as a Watchman at the Kiel Table Company.

On October 6, 1896, Emil married Anna Wilsing in Baltimore by a Priest.

Anna was born February 20, 1868 in Germany.

Emil and Anna had the following known Children:

Vernica born June 1, 1901
Lorenz born April 14, 1905
Gerhard born March 10, 1907
