At nine o'clock, Tuesday morning at St. Augustine's church, in this city, the marriage of Mr. Joseph Speers and Miss Mary Cullen, two of Rantoul's young people, was solemnized, rev. Fr. Geo. A. Clifford officiating. The bride was attended by Misses Katie Speers and Gertrude Greaney and Mathew Baer and Wm Mortell acted as groomsmen. After the ceremony at the church the happy event was appropriately celebrated during the afternoon and evening at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cullen. One hundred guests were entertained and dancing was the amusement of the evening. The groom is a son of Frank Speers and is an industrious young farmer of the town of Rantoul. The Times offers congratulations.
