September 23, 1905
At high noon, at home of the bridge's brother, Wm. Pohl, in the town of Stockbridge, occurred the marriage of Mr. Fred Nicholson and Miss Augusta Pohl. The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. G. Ruegg of the Stockbridge Congregational church in the presence of only near relatives. The happy couple drove to this city wand took the four o'clock train south for a short wedding trip and will then return to Charlestown where they will make there future home. The groom is a son of Geo. Nicholson, one of the pioneers of this section. He is one of the progressive young farmer of Calumet county. The bride has been a resident of Stockbridge and this city since her girlhood days and is a lady held in high esteem by all who know her. The Times joins with friends in offering congratulations.
