Couple Exchanges Promises

Mrs. Rita M. Parsons, Stockbridge, and Edward Burns, Hilbert, exchanged marriage promises at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Stockbridge. The Rev. William Willinger performed the single ring nuptial rite.

The bride's sister, Mrs. Harold Van Haren, Hilbert, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Mrs. William Schinderle, Stockbridge.

The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Charles Burns, and Jerome Eckman. Ushering duties were performed by Harold Van Haren, Douglas MacDonald and Arthur Fochs.

Dinner was served at Forty-Nine Club, Hilbert. A reception and supper were at Steffens Hall, Quinney.

The couple will live at Stockbridge.

Mr. Burns is a teacher and athletic director at Hilbert High School.
