Today Papa Luethge and his wife in New Holstein are celebrating their Diamond Wedding Anniversary and will attend a theater presentation by the Cincinnati German Theater Co.

On Thursday last week Mr. and Mrs. Ferd. Luethge in New Holstein, celebrated a rare Diamond Wedding Anniversary. Mr. Luethge came to New Holstein with the earliest settlers. He maintains a full interest in everything that promotes the German community and German language in this county and has allied himself with advancing German theater. Not only did he organize the first German theater in this area, but has sponsored German theater groups to visit New Holstein from Milwaukee and Cincinnati and made it possible for the residents in this area to attend. He has also been active in promoting local theater groups. Therefore, in celebration of his anniversary, he brought the German theater company from Cincinnati for a presentation. The entire town of New Holstein brought their well wishes and attended the production.
