October, 18, 1862, he enrolled for duty, being assigned to Co. B., 7th MO. Cav. CSA/Capt. C.H. Mobely’s Company, Clark’s Recruits, Missouri Volunteers.

March 18, 1863  he is shown to be a private in Capt. James A. Cooper’s Company, Clark’s Recruits.

March 23, 1863, Muster Roll information: detailed as a "teamster" to Kitchen’s, Co. K, 7th Reg’t Missouri Calvary.

Pvt. B.F. Bibb was paroled at Wittsburg, AR, May 25, 1865 after the surrender of the CSA to Union forces.

On Muster and Descriptive roll, he is described as being 36 years of age, eyes; Gray, hair; Dark, complexion; Dark; height; 5 feet 6 inches.
