~ ACTIVITIES ~
- Everyone welcome - See Ted Hansen! The last two years we have enjoyed playing Pitch-and-Putt golf at Darnell's, and if there is enough interest, we will do it again this year.GOLF
FISHING DERBY -
See Ty Garland! Last year Ty organized the first-ever fishing derby, and it was a lot of fun. There were several large trout caught, and one good sized striped bass-walleye-something-or-other that we never did identify, but was the biggest fish caught. Unfortunately the duck that was caught weighed the most, but was ruled ineligible - we may need a rule change here!ICE CREAM PARTY -
This has proven to be a fun activity for both kids and adults. We hope to do it again this year. Necessary ingredients will be provided, but we again need some empty 3# coffee cans with lids.~ Making Ice Cream and eating it will take about an hour. ~
ANNUAL BOCCE BALL TOURNEY -
Champions last year (2001) were Matt Larsen and Prudy Hulman. They will be in charge of this year's tourney and will be bringing two new trophies for the year 2002 tournament winners. Start practicing now! Those of you who have Bocce Ball sets.... PLEASE REMEMBER to bring them to the reunion.|

~ Please Note ~
Monetary donations will be accepted to defray the cost of paper goods as well as the food that has to be purchased for the Friday night barbecue and Saturday's breakfast and lunch.
We will also need help setting up for meals and cleaning up afterwards. Please look for a sign-up sheet in the Recreation Hall on Friday night. Working together provides a time of true fellowship and getting more fully acquainted with other family members. It is definitely a WIN-WIN situation!
FAMILY TREE UPDATE - Please bring new information for the Family Tree display.
This weekend is for fun and relaxation. It is a time to share stories about our heritage as well as the happenings of this past year. Be prepared to tell us all about the weddings, births, travels, and special projects that have taken place since we were last together.

Let's work together to share and preserve our family history!
I have been working on my family history for a couple of years now, and have the beginnings of a web site devoted to that subject. My relationship to the Garland - Klicker family is through my Step-Dad, Marion Garland.
So far, I have entered much of our family tree, and a large amount of family history information on my mother's side. You can also find information about the Garland - Klicker reunion on the web site! To see what has been done so far, go to the following internet address: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~cainhome/
If you look at the web site under Remmen Family, you will get an idea of what I would like to do for the other family lines. If you look under Garland/Klicker, you will see a link to the reunion web site, with all kinds of information about the reunion.
I really need everyone to bring to the reunion their family history information, such as written stories, history, documents, and PICTURES! Then, I can copy the information and photograph family pictures at the reunion.
I will take what I get and put it all together online, so everyone in the family can have access to it. I can also make copies to bring to future reunions so that we can have a display set up with the family tree.
Please bring anything that you think would be of interest, and we can discuss it at the reunion. Thank-you for your help, and I hope to see you there!
