I hope you'll find some new and exciting places that you haven't been to yet here. The Newspaper section goes directly to the newspaper; make sure to click on Obituary, if it doesn't automatically come up. These sites have free searches unless they state otherwise, but I have tried to keep them FREE!! If you have anything that you would like to have me add to the following pages PLEASE email me, I'll check them out and get them listed as soon as I can. Please remember they don't have to be just for Michigan! I'll be adding more as time allows.

Branch County Clerk Death Records Includes death records from late 1800s to present.
Brighton District Library Includes obituaries from 1971 - 2003 from the Livingston County Press and Argus newspaper.
Rawson Memorial Library Cass City, MI~ You can search The Chronicle or The Enterprise that have been scanned to digital format. Very informative site. Articles date back into the 1800's. Newpapers are shown in their entirety.

Mount Clements Library Online research and links
Pigeon District Library Joann Haist Collection. As a member of Pigeon Historical Society since its founding in 1976, she often found no resource to answer inquiries about town history including businesses and families records such as births, marriages, and deaths. In May of 2003, Mrs. Haist donated her collection of notebooks to the Pigeon District Library.
Saginaw Public Library
The Saginaw Public Libraries maintains an index of over 170,000 obituaries from the Saginaw News dating back to the 1800's. Searchable by last name, last name and date, or just date.
Although the entire obituary is not available there is a vast amount of information listed. Where you find, place of birth,cemetery, marriage date, married to, maiden name, cause of death, place of death. One of the BEST sites Mid-Michigan has to offer.
