Albert Franklin McKnight was born in Cecil County Maryland on June 17, 1858. On
September 17, 1882 he married Anna Louisa Janney. Albert was known as Frank. He
held various occupations: Blacksmith, Carpenter and boat yard employee among
them.Frank and Louisa had five children together, their son Cecil Roy is my
direct ancestor. Frank died on February 10, 1953 at Union Hospital in Elkton
Maryland and was buried three days later at Cherryhill Methodist
Cemetary.

1) Albert
Franklin : Born and died in 1883.
2) Vernon
Hastings: Vernon was born July 29, 1885 in Cecil County, Maryland. He was
married twice. Vernon married Helen Sophia Burkley on October 10, 1916. They had
four known children. Helen died in 1953. He later married Adelia McGready
Laughlin. Vernon died in 1960. His children's names are private because they may
be living.
3) Etta
Neal: Etta was born November 19, 1888 and died of TB on December 15, 1911. She
was unmarried.
4) Cecil
Roy: Cecil was on January 30, 1891 in Elkton Maryland. About 1917 he married
Violet May Nicholson. Their child's name is being kept private, she is my
grandmother and still living. Cecil died in Philadelphia on Easter Sunday, April
5, 1942.
5) Bessie
Lutton: Bessie was born on March 13, 1895 and died November 20, 1996 at the age
of 101. She never married.
